Meet Cynthia Stadd, Your Founder & Teacher

I eat peacefully now, but it wasn't always this way.

I struggled with a nasty 12-year food fight that produced a 40 lb. weight gain and extremely imbalanced health.  
 
I desperately wanted the fat to come off and my chronic health issues to go away. 

A life full of passion, drive and purpose felt like a distant memory because of the obsessive and addictive
 food fight.
 

Here’s how it started …

The performing bug bit me at the ripe age of 8 yrs. and I was in my glory singing and dancing on every stage I could find.  Performing is a paradox; on one hand I wanted to be front and center with all eyes on me, but the minute I stepped into the bright shining stage lights I knew I would be scrutinized and judged. Every movement. Every note from my throat. Every fat roll and shape of my thighs and rounded shoulders.
 
That vulnerability got stronger the more I performed and eventually the prickly, intense fear that emerged from the vulnerability drove me into a 12-year binge eating disorder.
 
This intensely disordered relationship with food produced the exact results I was most scared of; I gained a ton of weight, had a very sick and imbalanced gut and mentally suffered with bouts of depression and lethargy that notably threatened my performance career. This was living in “Food Jail,” and it wasn’t until I hit rock bottom with my intense food fight that the tides turned.
 

Three fundamental shifts happened to forever end my food and body battles:

Shift #1:   I declared no more food fight.
I declared food will, from that moment forward, be my loving friend and precious fuel for my life instead of being my non-mortal all-consuming enemy.
 
Shift #2:   I decided to face with fierce bravery and vulnerability what was driving me to so grossly stuff my face every day.
 
Shift #3:   I fundamentally changed my hard-core beliefs about food.

Instead of believing that all I had to do was find the “right” diet and my food issues would magically disappear, I decided instead to believe I could find a peaceful and balanced way of eating that served my waistline and health as much as it served my craving and need for tasty pleasure without any extreme restriction or hard-lined rules.

I was no longer on a mission to master carbs, proteins and fats.

Instead, I mastered my emotions, beliefs and deepest soul drivers.

I finally decided to stop fighting and let go of searching for another surface solution.  I was ready to deal with the root cause of the problem, and I did that by focusing on me, instead of focusing solely on the food. 

I figured out the magic to end my food and body war.
